This is how I used this app:

 Until I got my first 25 lands, I grinded the free 2 Atlas Bucks every 20 or so minutes for anywhere from 8-16 hours a day and the boost. That took a while, if I'm being completely honest. I also frequently checked the app on commutes, since I take public transportation, for diamonds which you can use to spin for more free Atlas bucks. I'm also saving up Atlas bucks every few lands to get passport badges whenever I happen to be somewhere I can get a new "passport badge" which exist for cities/equivalent, states/equivalent, and countries. 

If you download the app using the link below, I get 10 Atlas bucks for each land you buy *after* the tutorial, up to 100 Atlas bucks per person. I am not sure if using my above method would count for this. Even if it doesn't, DO NOT pay real money for these lands. I have done the math and you wouldn't even make your money back after a year. The only way this app is close to worth the pennies it offers over time is if you work it how I described above. 

*You get 200 free atlas bucks when you unlock your 10th parcel.

Here's how we both get $5 from Cash app:

This is a lottery app.
